French: French Salon Music - October 15, 7:30 PM: Gyder Hall

Our second season at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts will pair music and wine for a perfect evening of entertainment. Wine from France will be featured during this concert, paired perfectly with music from the salon.

While concert halls and theaters were closed during World War I, composers and painters took to salon concerts in their homes to celebrate new works of art and music. The Mill Ave Chamber Players brings the salon music of Poulenc, Françaix, and Debussy paired with “Vin de France”!
