Kenny Miller, Tenor, to Join MACP for Winter Songs Series
Winter will be the season of the Mill Ave Chamber Players' next concert series with Kenny Miller, whom will join us to perform Brett Dean's "Winter Songs," songs from Schubert's "Wintereise" and Vaughn Williams' "Blake Songs."
Kenny Miller is the Coordinator of Voice Studies and Director of Choral Activities at Phoenix College, is a member and an assistant conductor of the Grammy Award-winning Phoenix Chorale (www.phoenixchorale.org), under the direction of Charles Bruffy, with whom he recorded the highly acclaimed album Northern Lights, released on the Chandos label in 2012. He is the Executive Director of HELIOS: a modern renaissance, a Phoenix-based early music ensemble (www.heliosphx.org).
Tickets are available via the MACP website for our concert on Sunday, February 7 at 3 PM at Central United Methodist Church in Central Phoenix and at the door. Tickets for our Wednesday, February 3 performance at Peoria Center for the Performing Arts can be purchased online or at the door.
